英文講義--附加問句

附加問句(Tag Questions)

原則:

 1. 判斷主要句子為「肯定」或「否定」，附加問句必須和前面的句子相反。

  （否定詞：no, never, nothing, few, little, hardly, seldom等字；附加問句需用肯定）

  2. 找出be動詞（am, are, is；was, were）或助動詞（will, would, should, can, could, 

   may, might, have, has, had），附加問句則跟著用該字；若只有一般動詞，則用助動詞:

do, does，did。

3. beV.或助動詞需與not縮寫（am與not不能縮寫，故其附加問句寫成am I not?）。

4. 找出真正的主詞，以主要子句為準。

  5. 附加問句中的主詞，一律用「代名詞」。

    （this, that→it；these, those→they；there→there）

  6. 祈使句不論為肯定或否定，附加問句一律為will you?

  7. 表示「邀請」的祈使句，附加問句則為won’t you?

  8. Let’s not…的附加問句為OK或all right? Let’s…的附加問句則為shall we?

9. too…to…（太…而不能…）視為肯定，其附加問句仍需用否定。

10. 回答附加問句時，肯定的結果就答Yes，否定的結果就答No。與中文思維恰恰相反。

例：You don’t bring your textbook, do you?（你沒帶課本，不是嗎？）：Yes, I don’t.

（是的，我沒帶。）。

    正確說法是:   Yes, I do. (是的，我有帶)            No, I don’t. (沒有，我沒帶)
